My story

This August, I’ll be taking on a 100-mile bike ride to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

This isn’t just another challenge. It’s a deeply personal one.

Earlier this year, my dad, my hero, was diagnosed with prostate cancer that has already metastasised. Following mum’s breast cancer metastasis last year, like so many families, our lives changed in an instant, again.

Anyone who knows my dad knows the kind of man he is: gentle, kind, resilient, and always there for others. Seeing someone you love face a diagnosis like this is incredibly difficult, but if there’s one thing he’s shown throughout, it’s courage.

I’m riding at least 100 miles in his honour, and for every family facing the uncertainty that prostate cancer brings. Every mile will be a reminder of the thousands of men are giving all to overcome this disease, every day.

Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer in men in the UK. The money raised through Prostate Cancer UK helps fund lifesaving research, improves diagnosis and treatment, and provides vital support for men and their families when they need it most.

If you’re able to support me, no matter how big or small the donation, I’d be incredibly grateful. If you can’t donate, sharing this page would mean just as much.

Thank you for helping me turn something so personal into something that might make a difference for others.

This ride is for my dad. ❤️
