Cycle the Month this May

Registrations for Cycle the Month 2022 are now closed. You can join us again next year, but if you have any questions before then please email the team at cyclethemonth@prostatecanceruk.org.

Meet Lee.

Lee took on Cycle the Month last year after his dad was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in 2020.

Just two months later, Lee was diagnosed with the disease himself. He was successfully treated and will be returning to the saddle this May.

“I’ll be forever thankful to my dad for saving my life as if it wasn’t for his diagnosis I wouldn’t have gone to the doctor as I had no symptoms,” he said.

“I’m looking forward to Cycle the Month in May to help raise awareness of this disease. It’s hard to believe everything that has happened since I completed it last year, but it’s shown me the importance of raising awareness for other men.”

Most men with early prostate cancer don’t have symptoms, so knowing your risk and doing something about it can be a life saver. But without a screening programme, too many men will still be diagnosed too late. By taking on Cycle the Month, you’ll help Prostate Cancer UK transform prostate cancer diagnosis so the men we love can live long and live well.
