How can I cycle?
There’s lots of ways to hit your target, whether it’s keeping up your normal exercise routine or trying something new - you can make up your 100 miles over a day, a week, a weekend or a month. Just keep pedalling.
Who can take part?
Anyone and everyone. Cycle the way you want over the course of the month.
Can we take part as a team?
Yes, one team one dream! All you need to do is select the team option on sign up and it will guide you through the process of creating a team or joining an existing one.
What’s the best way to track my movement?
This challenge is all about keeping busy and active, so we trust you to be sticking to the times you challenged yourself to. JustGiving has a great tool to connect your fundraising page to your Strava account so you can share your rides publicly.
How can I fundraise?
Once you’ve decided to Cycle the Month, there’s loads of great ways to fundraise. Sign up and we’ll help you set up a JustGiving page and send you tips to make your challenge a success.
How much does it cost?
It’s free to sign up and take part. As for fundraising, we're suggesting that you raise a minimum of £100 - but we'd like you to aim higher.
I want to wear a Prostate Cancer UK top whilst I cycle, where can I get one?
We have an amazing gift of a branded jersey if you hit the £300 fundraising mark. Or you can kit yourself out at our online shop.
How can I see what other people are doing?
We’ll be posting regular cycling inspiration to help give you that boost mid way through your challenge, and so will your peers. Check out the story grid on our homepage where you can see what your fellow cyclists are up to and how they are racking up the miles. You will also be able to keep your eye on those hitting 100 miles on the leaderboard to encourage you to get into gear. Don’t forget to post your #CycletheMonth snaps too.
Is this challenge for me?
You should be physically fit enough to complete the distance but if you have any health concerns, please speak to your doctor before taking part. Taking part in the challenge is at your own risk, so please make sure to take due care and follow any government guidelines at the time of your challenge.
